TOILET REPAIR
Constant running, weak flushing and malfunctioning components don't always mean you need a new toilet. We'll identify the problem and repair what's actually needed.
RUNNING TOILETS
A toilet that continuously runs can waste a surprising amount of water. We find the cause and replace or adjust the components responsible.
TOILET INSTALLATION
Replacing an old or unreliable toilet? We remove the existing unit, install your new toilet and make sure everything is properly connected and operating.

WHEN SHOULD A TOILET BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED?
COMMON TOILET PROBLEMS
Running between flushes, weak flushing, recurring clogs, loose components and water appearing around the toilet are all signs that something isn’t working properly.
Some problems originate inside the tank and are relatively straightforward to repair. Others can involve the water connection, seal, drain or toilet itself. Finding the actual cause is the first step.
REPAIR OR REPLACE?
A newer toilet with a worn component can often be repaired without replacing the entire fixture. But age, cracks, repeated clogs, persistent leaks or recurring repairs can make replacement the better investment.
Our team will assess the condition of the toilet and give you a straightforward recommendation based on what we find.
TOILET QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS.
Why does my toilet keep running?
Worn or improperly functioning components inside the tank are common causes. A running toilet can waste water continuously, so it’s worth having the problem corrected.
Why does my toilet keep clogging?
Recurring clogs can result from the toilet itself, what is being flushed or a problem farther into the drain system. If plunging only temporarily solves the issue, the underlying cause should be investigated.
Why is water leaking around the bottom of my toilet?
Water around the base can indicate a failed seal or another leak nearby. Because moisture can damage the flooring and subfloor, it shouldn’t be ignored.
Can you repair a toilet that doesn’t flush properly?
Yes. Weak or incomplete flushing can have several causes. We’ll inspect the toilet and determine what needs to be repaired.
When should I replace rather than repair my toilet?
Replacement may make more sense when a toilet is cracked, frequently clogs, repeatedly needs repairs or has reached the point where continued repair isn’t cost-effective.
Can Mother Plumber install a toilet I already purchased?
In many cases, yes. The toilet needs to be appropriate for the existing bathroom configuration and plumbing connections.
Do you remove the old toilet?
When we’re replacing a toilet, removal of the existing fixture can be handled as part of the installation.
